Aftercare: How to Reduce the Risk of Infection

After a piercing, healing depends heavily on your routine. Follow the recommendations received in the studio and, in short, keep the following in mind:

  • wash your hands before touching the area
  • avoid pools, saunas, and public baths during the healing period
  • avoid sleeping on the area (especially for ear/cartilage piercings)
  • do not twist or remove the jewelry in the first few weeks
  • avoid cosmetic products or makeup on the pierced area
  • if unusual signs appear (severe pain, foul-smelling discharge, fever), contact us and seek medical advice

Frequently Asked Questions About Piercing

At what age can I get a piercing?

Piercings can be done from the age of 16 without parental consent. Under 16, only ear piercings can be performed, with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Can I book an appointment without a deposit?

Appointments are made based on a deposit (minimum amount 100 RON). In case of a no-show, the paid deposit is non-refundable.

Is the jewelry included in the service price?

No. The service fee does not include the jewelry. If you wish to purchase jewelry from our studio, we have several models available.

How long does a piercing take to heal?

Healing time varies depending on the area (e.g., a lobe usually heals faster than cartilage). During the consultation, we will tell you what to expect and what care routine we recommend.

What do I need to bring with me for my piercing?

You need a valid ID. If you have questions about jewelry or anatomy, we will discuss them before the procedure.
